211006-N-FA490-1028 APRA HARBOR, GUAM (Oct. 06, 2021) Gunner’s Mate 3rd Class Michael Trombino, from Wildomar, Calif., raises the kilo flag on the port bridge wing of the Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Jackson (LCS 6) during routine operations. Jackson, part of Destroyer Squadron Seven, is on a rotational deployment, is operating in the U.S. 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force in support of free and open Indo-Pacific region.
