Paradis, whom was interred at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii, Oct. 7, 2021. The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) and attending family members paid their respects and honored the life of Paradis, who was assigned to the USS Oklahoma when the ship was attacked by Japanese aircraft during World War II. Paradis was accounted for on Feb. 24, 2021, nearly 80 years after the attacks on Pearl Harbor. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. James Thompson)
