This is Chaplain (Maj.) Daryl Thul, who has the responsibility of caring for the spiritual wellbeing of CAB Soldiers and their families. Born and raised in Cold Spring, Minnesota, Thul works as a member of the commander's personal staff and advises the command on all matters of religion and unit morale. At Camp Atterbury, in Indiana, Thul has presided over and coordinated religious services for CAB Soldiers, while they support and participate in the bilateral training exercise Talisman Saber 17. Outside of the National Guard, he is a Lutheran pastor at Sillerud Lutheran and Trinity Lutheran in Balaton.
