Two cranes simultaneously raise a 70,000-pound truss during the construction of the new aircraft maintenance hangar at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware, Oct. 8, 2021. The critical lift of the 263-foot-long truss is the first of nine trusses to be installed during the construction process. Once completed, the 84,147 square foot, single bay hangar will be able to fully enclose both C-5 and C-17 aircraft for maintenance. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is overseeing the $41.2 million project. (U.S. Air Force photo by Roland Balik)
