Attendees of the annual Fort Jackson Candlelight Vigil hold lit candles to bring awareness of domestic violence to the community. More than 19,000 adults contact the National Domestic Violence Hotline annually to report physical abuse and seek help to safely leave the relationship. Fort Jackson’s Army Community Services offers additional services through the Family Advocacy Program to help prevent domestic violence, intimate partner and child abuse.
