Troy Vanalsburg, an aviation ordnance technician, with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 172, Marine Aircraft Group 36, rearms a UH-1Y Venom helicopter at a Forward Arming and Refueling Point on Ie Shima, Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 7th, 2021. MWSS 172, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, established a forward arming and refueling point on an airfield secured by 2d Battalion, 3d Marines to support sustained aviation operations.
