The Brooke Army Medical Center Palliative Care team perform a simulated counseling session as part of their training with Christine Pham, a BAMC staff member. The interdisciplinary Palliative Care Team, which consists of a chaplain, nurse, physician, pharmacist, and a social worker, focuses the overall emotional, physical, and spiritual support for both patients and the patient’s support group in order to provide care that goes beyond treating the patient’s illness.
