Victor Valunzuela, a bulk fuel specialist with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 172, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, prepares to transfer fuel from a MV-22 Osprey to a collapsible fabric tank during forward arming and refueling point operations on Ie Shima, Okinawa, Japan, Oct. 5, 2021. Infantry Marines from 2d Battalion, 3d Marines, 3d Marine Division secured the airfield, enabling MWSS-172 to provide sustained aviation support for follow-on Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations.
