In order to promote versatility and cost-savings, the 52nd LRS Fuels Management Flight stationed at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, developed the Versatile Integrating Partner Equipment Refueling Kit (VIPER) kit, which functions as an adaptor for host nation refueling equipment to support fifth-generation fighters, as well as any U.S. Air Force aircraft, anywhere in the world.
