A U.S. Marine Corps UH-1Y Venom assigned to the Aviation Combat Element, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) lands to load reconnaissance Marines assigned to the 22nd MEU for Vehicle Boarding Search and Seizure (VBSS) training aboard the USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44), Oct. 22, 2021. Marines participated in the VBSS training to improve tactical efficiency at sea during PHIBRON–MEU Integrated training (PMINT). PMINT is the first at-sea period in the MEU’s Predeployment Training Program; it aims to increase interoperability and build relationships between Marines and Sailors.
