    22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit

Reconnaissance Marines assigned to the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) execute fast roping techniques from a U.S. Navy MH-60 Seahawk during Vehicle Boarding Search and Seizure (VBSS) training aboard the USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44), Oct. 22, 2021. Marines participated in the VBSS training to improve tactical efficiency at sea during PHIBRON–MEU Integrated training (PMINT). PMINT is the first at-sea period in the MEU’s Pre-deployment Training Program; it aims to increase interoperability and build relationships between Marines and Sailors.
