Soldiers from the NCO Academy at Fort McCoy, Wis., along with senior noncommissioned officers from across the installation, sing the Army Song following the lateral promotion ceremony for 20 specialists to corporal, Oct. 26, 2021. The ceremony comes after an Army policy stating that all Soldiers in the rank of specialist who complete the Basic Leader Course and are recommended for promotion at a board will be laterally promoted to corporal.
