U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Mitchell Florea, a forward air controller with 2d Battalion, 8th Marines, coordinates with an MH-60S Sea Hawk during a Fire Support Coordination Exercise as part of Fuji Viper 22.1 at Combined Arms Training Center, Camp Fuji, Japan, Oct. 26, 2021. During this exercise Marines sharpened critical combined arms skills, ensuring they are ready and capable to execute a wide range of missions. 2/8 is forward-deployed in the Indo-Pacific under 4th Marines, 3d Marine Division.
