U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Europe District Resident Engineer Mario Fuquene checks out initial demolition work May 12, 2021, that is part of a noise mitigation project at a Panzer Kaserne training range that is part of U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is implementing the range improvements, which are the result of collaboration between the U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart, the 7th Army Training Command, the nearby City of Böblingen and the local German construction authority known as the Bauamt, to reduce the noise impacts to the nearby community members that stem from activity on the range.
