    SURABAYA, Indonesia (Nov. 3, 2021) Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician 2nd Class Alex Jelich, attached to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 5, demonstrates sealing procedures for a chemical munition to Indonesian military personnel during Cooperation Afloat and Readiness and Training (CARAT) Indonesia 2021. In its 27th year, the CARAT series is comprised of multinational exercises, designed to enhance U.S. and partner navies’ abilities to operate together in response to traditional and non-traditional maritime security challenges in the Indo-Pacific region.
