U.S. Navy AO2 Aaron Foster Jones prepares to receive a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal from LtCol Andrew D’Ambrogi, both with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 211, on the flight deck of HMS Queen Elizabeth on November 10th, 2021, in the Gulf of Aden. Foster received the medal for his superior performance during the United Kingdom’s Carrier Strike Group 21 deployment. The success of this deployment demonstrates that the United States and the UK are united in our efforts to ensure security and freedom of the seas, that our maritime power projection capabilities are interoperable, complementary, and global.
