U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Yliana A. Each year the Honolulu Council of the Navy League recognizes the outstanding achievements of nearly 50 junior officers and junior enlisted U.S. service members from the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard stationed in Hawaii. The awardees receive these awards based on exemplary performance of duties, individual achievement, excellence in leadership, and participation in community activities.
