NASA astronauts Shannon Walker, Michael Hopkins and Victor Glover, International Space Station Crew 1 members, read a book to LEARN D.C. first grade students on Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C., Nov. 19, 2021. ISS Crew 1 read to students and answered questions about their careers, experiences and mission exploring space. During their visit, the astronauts also watched a demonstration by the United States Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team and interacted with a group of JBAB Airmen with the intent to connect with and inspire future generations.
