This morning, Sector Maryland-National Capital Region Master Chief Petty Officer (MCPO) Kevin Eldridge, U.S. Coast Guard, joined Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM) Sergeant Major (SgtMaj) Johnathan Radel and Military District of Washington Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Franklin Velez, U.S. Army, to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. MCICOM exercises command and control of Marine Corps installations via regional commanders in order to provide oversight, direction and coordination of installation services and to optimize support to the Operating Forces, tenants and activities.
