Carlos Saldana, the deputy director for Marine Corps and Family Programs, Marine Corps Community Services, listens during the grand reopening ceremony for the library on Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 2, 2021. The ceremony consisted of a ribbon cutting, tour of the renovations, and a performance by the III Marine Expeditionary Force Band. The library showcased renovations with a variety of new education sections and a reorganization of the children and youth area to adhere to a broader range of interests for service members and their families.
