    U.S. Air Force 1st Lt. Brandon Sublett, 89th Airlift Wing flightline protocol officer, walks retired U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Charles E. McGee to a bus to drive him over to a C-37B aircraft at Joint Base Andrews, Md., Dec. 5, 2021. McGee earned his Tuskegee Airman pilot wings in 1943 and flew in 37 different aircraft, including the infamous Red Tails P-51 Mustang, and conducted 409 combat missions during WWII, Korea and Vietnam.
