HONOLULU (Dec. 7, 2021) — Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro sits with David Russell, a 101-year-old Pearl Harbor survivor who was aboard the USS Oklahoma (BB 37) during the attack, before the reinterment ceremony for the last 33 unidentified remains found aboard the ship at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific Dec. 7, 2021. Secretary Del Toro is in Hawaii for the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, the commissioning of USS Daniel Inouye (DDG 118) and to meet with service members, DoD civilians and their families to discuss issues affecting the community.
