Command Master Chief Weba Roberts, command master chief, Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi greets Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force(JMSDF) Command Master Chief Ken Shimizu, command master chief, Fleet Air Wing 4, right, and Command Senior Chief Kazuaki Shimizu, command senior chief, Air Station Atsugi, following a cultural exchange ceremony at NAF Atsugi headquarters. The NAF Atsugi Chiefs Mess and JMSDF Chiefs Mess exchanged a wreath and Kadomatsu in celebration of U.S. and Japanese holiday season traditions. The Kadomatsu is decoration made up of cut pine and bamboo that adorns the entrance of Japanese buildings during the New Years season.
