U.S. Navy Hospitalman Jason Rehrig, a field medical technician with 3d Intelligence Battalion, III Marine Information Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force, is currently serving on the Medical Support Staff, supporting 3d Marine Expeditionary Brigade’s (MEB) exercise Yama Sakura 81. His role in the exercise is to coordinate medical care, logistics, and accountability for 3d MEB supporting and attached units.
“I’m really glad to be here. This is actually a lot of fun,” Rehrig said. “I have enjoyed learning about the other sections at the MEB and what they do. Seeing the interaction and coordination in action is pretty cool.”
“I want to tell my wife and daughter that I love them very much, and GO CARDINALS!”
Rehrig is a native of Buckeye, Arizona, and enlisted into the U.S. Navy in 2018.
