U.S. Air Force Col. Terence Taylor, 27th Special Operations Wing commander, learns about cow-calf operations from Jonathan and Daniel Vander Dussen, Rajen Dairy owners, Dec. 13, 2021, at Rajen Dairy in Clovis, New Mexico. Col. Taylor visited the Vander Dussen brothers in order to gain first-hand knowledge about how PFAS water contamination affected surrounding agricultural facilities, which the Air Force Civil Engineer Center reported to the New Mexico Environment Department in 2018. The Air Force Civil Engineer Center is utilizing various avenues of investigations, interagency collaboration, and direct community feedback in order to best address PFAS environmental issues surrounding Cannon AFB.
