U.S. Marine Corps AN/MRQ-13 Communications Systems attached to Marine Air Control Squadron (MACS) 4, sit on a hill during Ryukyu Vice at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 15, 2021. Ryukyu Vice is a joint fixed-wing aviation command and control exercise that provides critical training to 1st Marine Aircraft Wing tactical air control personnel through offensive, defensive and counter-air live-flight scenarios. During the exercise MACS-4 Marines practiced air intercept control using the AN/TPS-80 Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar.
