Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall poses for a picture with Airmen assigned to the 354th Fighter Wing (FW) at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, Dec. 21 2021. During the visit, Kendall recognized select Airmen for their role in protecting the nation’s northernmost borders while stressing the strategic importance of Alaska to our nation’s defense.
