Eries Mentzer pose for a photo with the sculpture created Mangum that was unveiled at the intersection of Montgomery and Molton Streets, during a ceremony honoring Rosa Parks on the 66th anniversary of the Montgomery Bus Boycott, Dec. 1, 2021. Parks worked at the Maxwell Field Guest House prior to her protest. Mangum created two identical pieces of artwork honoring Parks, one of which stands on Maxwell Air Force Base.
