Runners stayed the night in Djibouti's Grand Bara Desert the evening before the 13th French Foreign Legion's 25th annual Grand Bara Run, held Dec. 13. The 15k (9.3 miles) race drew more than 3,000 runners, 29 of which are deployed to Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa's Camp Lemonier.
