Mithaq Abed, left, a local farmer with roughly 21 acres of land, lines up, Dec. 17, outside the Al Rasheed Land Owners Association Headquarters in Al Rasheed to get some plastic to use to create a greenhouse to help his crops. Abed, who is planting eggplants and tomatoes, said the plastic will help his crops survive the winter. The association offers farming products to farmers at reduced costs. Proceeds are then used to secure more products to help farmers.
