JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Nov. 30, 2021) - Lt. Cmdr. Kaitlyn Schiavone, a dermatologist at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, conducts an exam with a 6-year-old. Schiavone holds a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. A native of Sarasota, Florida, she says, "Skin checks are a type of preventive care.
