Col. Brian Beachkofski gives Gen. Philippe Lavigne and other members of NATO a tour of Kessel Run’s facility in Boston, Mass., Jan. 24, 2022. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Detachment 12, also known as Kessel Run, is revolutionizing Air Force software acquisition and delivery, creating daily innovations and upgrades at significant savings to the DoD. Last year, Kessel Run delivered its application JIGSAW to NATO as part of a foreign military sale. JIGSAW is a tanker fuel planning application that has saved the DoD hundreds of millions in fuel costs and greatly reduced the time associated with planning refueling missions. Lavigne is the Supreme Allied Commander Transformation. Beachkofski is the commander of Kessel Run. (U.S. Air Force photo by Richard Blumenstein)
