PONCE, Puerto Rico (Jan. 25, 2022) — Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro receives a crew patch naming him an honorary “Honey Badger” from Cmdr. Brian A. Forster, commanding officer of the Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Milwaukee (LCS 5), Cmdr. Sean F. Davis, executive officer, and Command Senior Chief Santiago Jaramillo in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Jan. 25, 2022. Secretary Del Toro is visiting Puerto Rico to celebrate the 500th anniversary of San Juan, meet with local officials, and to visit the Sailors aboard the Milkwaukee, which is deployed to U.S. 4th Fleet area of operations to support Joint Interagency Task Force South’s mission, which includes counter-illicit drug trafficking missions in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific.
