U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Skylar Cheek, an intelligence specialist, and Cpl. Justin Breslin, a crew chief, both with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), conduct a fly over in order to capture key points of interest with a camera on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 28, 2022. As a quick-response force, the MEU must be able to facilitate multiple operations at once, resulting in quicker maneuverability and coordination. The 31st MEU is operating aboard ships of America Amphibious Ready Group in the 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
