Col Benjamin Flosi, chief of the Infrastructure and Economics section of the 38G Government Functional Specialty Team, 351st Civil Affairs Command, U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne), spent time with a U.S. State Department partner during Keen Edge 22, Camp Smith, Hawaii.
Held Jan. 26 – Feb. 3, KE22 is a bilateral Japan Joint Staff and U.S. Indo-Pacific Command level post exercise allowing planning and conducting of operations against all domain competitors. KE22 allowed functional specialty team members the opportunity to integrate with interagency partners and demonstrate the knowledge and expertise Civil Affairs Soldiers bring to crisis, contingency, and combat operations.
