Oklahoma Army National Guardsmen assist state authorities in the eradication of illegal marijuana during a large-scale, multi-agency operation targeting criminal marijuana growth and trafficking in the southern region of Oklahoma, Feb. 22, 2022. The OKNG assisted with the eradication and clean-up of the nine illegal grow sites after law enforcement officers served warrants and gathered the evidence they needed. Guardsmen assisted in the removal of approximately 100,000 plants and 2,000 pounds of processed marijuana. The estimated value of the seizure is $500 million.
