(3) Sgt. Keijuanaky Seales, a supply clerk with the Iowa Army National Guard Sustainment Training Center, processes packages at Camp Dodge on Feb. 25, 2022. Throughout her career in the Iowa National Guard, Seales has been grateful for small opportunities to share her culture. Similar to the many meals Seales shares with her daughter and siblings most weekends, she and her coworkers would often set time aside to have lunches with ethnic food. “The military is very black and white, and bosses don’t always know how to give their employees that freedom to express themselves without overdoing it. But we would just sit down, enjoy each other, have conversations.” (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Staff Sgt. Tawny Schmit)
