U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 3d Marines, 3d Marine Division, test communication devices, at the Jungle Warfare Training Center on Camp Gonsalves, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 24, 2022. This training validated the Marines’ ability to skillfully set-up long-range communication devices and effectively communicate in austere jungle environments. 1/3 is forward-deployed in the Indo-Pacific under 4th Marines as a part of the Unit Deployment Program.
