220302-N-VJ369-1069 OKINAWA, Japan (Mar. 02,2022) Construction Mechanic 1st Class Travis Russell from Dallas, Texas, and Construction Mechanic 2nd Class Trevor Mcconnell from Fredericksburg, Virginia, assigned to U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, demonstrates a basic wristlock takedown, preparing for the upcoming Tan Belt Test for the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program on board Camp Shields in Okinawa, Japan. NMCB-3 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
