Logistics support representatives from the NAVSUP FLC Norfolk Logistics Support Center (LSC) were on hand last week for the departure of USS Kearsarge (LHD 3). Thad Berry, Logistics Specialist Second Class Shakeira Paschal, Logistics Specialist Second Class Joy Obesa and Logistics Specialist Second Class Joana Valencia are seen here just before Kearsarge left for a deployment with the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (ARG). The ARG also includes USS Arlington (LPD 24) and USS Gunston Hall (LSD 44). The LSC assisted in the delivery of 800 pallets of supplies via pier side delivery and replenishment at sea for Kearsarge, along with more than 400 pallets between Arlington and Gunston Hall.
