U.S. Army Spc. Nathaniel L. Petrini, a parachute rigger assigned to C Company, Support Battalion, 1st Special Warfare Training Group, helps a boy put on a parachute during the Tampa Bay Airfest hosted at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, March 26, 2022. Petrini, a native of the Islando of Hawaii, was one of dozens of Soldiers who helped set up and operate the Airfest’s Army Village. The Army Village featured a myriad of modern and historical Army vehicles, helicopters and airborne equipment. The static and interactive displays attracted thousands of visitors and offered hundreds of opportunities for Petrini and his team to share their story on how they earned the privilege to work with some of the most highly trained service members in the world.
