QUEZON, Philippines (March 27, 2022) Filipino dancers perform a cultural dance during a Morale Welfare and Recreation day tour for Sailors, assigned to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72), to Villa Escudero, Philippines. While in the Philippines, Abraham Lincoln celebrated the 70th year of the U.S. Philippine alliance through at-sea distinguished visitor embarks, ship tours, community relations projects, MWR tours and a reception hosted in the ship’s hangar bay. Abraham Lincoln Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability through alliances and partnerships while serving as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
