Parker, Chief of Staff for Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) spend time and speak with British Armed Forces, Staff Sgt. Sam Potts, Drum Major of 1st Battalion Welsh Guards at the CJTF-OIR compound March 30, 2022 at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. The British Army maintains a Corps of Drums in each Foot Guards Battalion. The platoon is made up of Guardsmen trained to play drums and bugles. Multiple Corps of Drums may be 'massed' together on certain occasions.
