New York Sen. Charles Schumer shakes a 1st Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, Soldier's hand during his visit to Forward Operating Base Warrior in Kirkuk, Iraq, Jan. 1. Schumer met with Soldiers and Airmen from New York over lunch and spent the rest of his visit meeting with senior military officials and touring various facilities at the FOB. This is the senator's first visit to Iraq.
