Nick Jennings, a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) biologist, inspects the wing of a Florida burrowing owl at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, April 8, 2022. This owl, which was held at a wildlife rehabilitation center, was relocated to MacDill because the base is home to the only known remaining colonies of burrowing owls in the Tampa Bay area.
