The 31st Logistics Readiness Squadron refuels an F/A18E Super Hornet at Aviano Air Base, Italy, Feb. 10, 2022. This is the first time the newly created Versatile Integrating Partner-Nation Equipment Refueling kit was used in a joint environment and on an F/A18E. The VIPER kit allows any filtered fuel source to offer hot pit refueling capability during Agile Combat Employment operations, providing highly mobile fuel support.
