Alaska Army Guard Chief Warrant Officer 2 Amanda Lopez, a pilot with Bravo Company, 2-211th General Support Aviation Battalion, flies a CH-47 Chinook helicopter from Nome to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, April 12, 2022. The CH-47 helicopter brought air crews back from Nome after staging two UH-60L Black Hawk helicopters for Golf Company, Detachment 1, 2-211th GSAB to conduct annual training and aide in River Watch if needed later this spring. Should there be significant flooding or other emergency in the vicinity, the Black Hawk helicopters will provide support as requested by the State. (Alaska National Guard photo by 1st Lt.
