Technical Sgt. Eric Yates, 22nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, loads fuel to a KC-46A Pegasus to prepare it for the first flight of the Employment Concept Exercise (ECE) March 21, 2022, at Morón Air Base, Spain. The exercise is designed to further operational testing and evaluation, increase crews' proficiency and support personnel and strengthen aircraft sustainment operations. The aircraft is one of four participating in the first KC-46 Employment Concept Exercise, part of Air Mobility Command’s strategy allowing the Pegasus to support real-world missions and assess its capabilities on the path to full-operational status.
