U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Rafel Eddinfield, 36th Aircraft Maintenance Unit electro and environmental systems journeyman, removes safety wiring from a testing point during an environmental control system check in support of RED FLAG-Alaska 22-1 at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, May 4, 2022. An ECS check examines air pressure levels throughout the aircraft to ensure fuel can transfer properly and sustain specific temperatures to cool the cockpit and various components.
