Chris Donnelly, an engineering technician and machine shop manager at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center’s (ERDC) Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL), starts up a CNC lathe in CRREL’s machine shop.
The machine shop is a one-stop-shop for ERDC researchers, scientists and engineers who need a unique part designed and fabricated by Donnelly and that cannot be bought off the shelf.
